Tonight’s pour is Old Forrester Single Barrel Barrel Strength. This is a pick from my local Costco that I paid $59 for. They had 4 different barrels to choose but I only picked up 2. This bottle is from warehouse K, Floor #1. It comes in at 128.3 proof. I get brown sugar on the nose. I really love the viscosity of this bottle. Coats the mouth well. Really nice brown sugar and baking spice on the palate. So very good for the price. I have not cracked the other bottle yet but this is so good I can’t wait to get into the next one. My wife prefers this proof point over a block of ice so that’s how I’m enjoying it with her this evening. Hope you all have a great Monday evening.

I picked up this bottle a few weeks ago at Costco for $39. I have heard some mixed reviews recently but for that price…… I am pleasantly surprised! I get honey on the nose and a bit of stone fruit on the palate. I enjoyed it but my wife really likes it. Bonus!! Thanks to u/codycode45 for the inspiration to crack it tonight. Cheers everyone!
