I’m planning to skip my Bandung tour and opt for Bogor due to logistics. I learned that Bogor is just 1.5-2 hours from CGK via car. However, I want to try the public transpo. What time does Jakarta Kota station open? (Asking here because answers on google varies)? Does it really open at 4 AM? If my plane lands at 1 AM + another hour or two for immigration and breakfast, can I just take the gojek to Jakarta Kota and book a train, or is private car much better? Note that I think I’d be too early if I book a car instead (also more expensive) and I also want to have the “local experience”

Any advice will be very appreciated. Thank you!

Hi! My plane to Jakarta lands around midnight. I was initially planning to take the Whoosh but it does not open until past 6 AM and I find it a hassle. Now, I read that you can take cititrans. Is cititrans available 24/7? Note that they have scheduled trips online (which I cannot book because I need an indonesian number) but I don’t want to risk it. Cititrans is also the accessible and cheaper option, as I don’t have to take the Gojek to Halim or book a room for day-use.

Can i simply show up in the Cititrans and expect a shuttle around midnight? Do I need to book beforehand? Same question about Whoosh, is it packed during weekends? Can I get a ticket on the booth itself?

Thanks! Answers will be of huge help to this anxious traveller.

I’ll be going to Jakarta in a month. I have read about the taxis and car services, however, is there any motorbikes aside from Grab bike? Since I just have a backpack with me, I believe it will be less of a hassle and the better option to avoid the traffic. Are there such services that don’t require me to register using an Indonesian number?

Thank you!
