As the title goes what has led to the path that you are on or the postion you are currently in where mathematics is somewhat the centre of your life/attention

If past events could of gone differently, or you werent not introduced into mathematics, had a bad experience, or gave up early on do you think you would be in the same boat.

As a great an answer as - " mathematics unravels my curiosity, and i want to learn more" - why can't that be said about nearly any other field all fields on study are deep and rich and they themselves are fundamental in a sense which lead you down this road.

It eats at you slowly doesnt it being this alone? I have no one special to talk to. Everyone is distracted into their own worlds I listen to them I ask questions in hopes of hearing one in return? Not one it seems :)
