Bouncing strategies for collaboration with other producer

Hi everybody, I apologise if this is a noob question that has already been answered but I cannot find the correct answer to what I'm looking for.

I'm currently collaborating with a friend, we both use Live 12 standard, but we don't own the same third-party VSTs. I would like to send a session to this person but commit a minimum of content to audio so she can adjust Live's native effects, since I bring the basic musical ideas and she's more into the sound design aspect.

The issue I currently have is, I have some tracks that contain MIDI data triggering a third-party synth, going through a bunch of effects, both third-party (which she doesn't own) and native. I would like to render audio until the part of the chain she can adjust (native effects), if that makes sense.

Is there a convenient way to render to audio the synth + 3rd party effects, and leaving the rest of the effects chain untouched so she can adjust some things ? I hope that's clear 😄

I'm quite confused with the bounce/flatten/consolidate/freeze terminology and this would be a huge upgrade to our workflow as for the moment we only exchange audio tracks.

Many thanks in advance !

Questions before buying gear

Hi everybody,

I'm really interested in starting DJing to take a break from producing (mainly techno and DnB). I'm considering buying an MX2 but got a few questions.

I keep seeing Pioneer's FLX4 recommended for beginners, if some of you have experience with both how would you say they compare in terms of build quality ? It is surprisingly hard to find in depth comparisons between these two, even though they are in the same price range and I guess aimed at the same customer type. Regarding library management is it feasible with TP4 to export a library for rekordbox if I ever wanted to play on other people setups ? And finally are the MX2's pads clicky type ? I'm so used to the greats pads of my Maschine that this is a genuine concern :)

Any other input will be appreciated to help me make my mind :)
