just wondering..

first year undergraduate student, Canadian citizen. Parents live outside the country and I get no financial support from them.

Trying to figure out how to support myself thru my first school year.
how much would i get from an AFE boursary? and is it guaranteed i will get it?

I am also apartment hunting for the upcoming year and since I have no idea what how AFE is going to work out.. I'm uncertain about what my rental budget is ..

what has your experience been? how much money would a person in my situation be granted? Thanks in advance. :)

What is it actually like to live in one of those concrete condos? how good is sound-proofing?
Can you hear people walking upstairs? can you hear neighbors thru the walls?

also, can they hear you? for example, if you practice an instrument or listen to loud music.

can anyone be kind enough to share what their experience has been? I am forever struggling to find a place where I can get proper sleep. Thank you
