Brand new here 👋

Hello everyone! I found this sub a day ago & am brand new! I personally don't have narcolepsy but I joined to continue learning & being the best supporter/advocate I can be for this community. A little background, my partner is N1 narcoleptic with severe cataplexy & has had this since about 5 years old but wasn't figured out/received diagnosis until young teen years. They are in their 40s now & we've been together a little over 7 years. I joined because I look forward to learning more & asking questions (don't mind me i just love to ask questions instead of assuming) my first question I'd love to hear your thoughts on is What is the best way a partner can support you in everyday challenges? Look forward to hearing your thoughts since there's seriously SO MUCH to learn about this 🫶 and if theres anything you'd like to ask go ahead! I'd love to connect & grow more as well!

Do you prefer to receive affection, give affection or a mixture of both?

Obviously every man will feel different, I'm just curious about the answers. If there's a reason for your response, feel free to explain why if you'd like
