My Wawa likes to fill some of the deli orders before people pay. I really hate that. My store is super loud, so I can't hear them call out the number when I'm not anywhere near the counter. They stick the food way back in the corner (theft - I get it) but they never go back to call out those numbers again.

So should I mention it on a survey hoping management will do something? I either look like an idiot standing there waiting for an order that's already done (and tucked behind the counter) or I have to disturb the employees who are too busy to acknowledge I'm there.

This is only a recent problem....My store always made people pay first and that seemed to work fine.
