I have a friend who plays this game and I generally find strategy games interesting, especially since I heard HOI4 and Rise of Nations(Roblox) are similar, so I feel like I really want to buy it, especially since it's on sale, and it's sale price isn't something that's expensive or concerning.
However, I've never bought a game in my life other than Minecraft(recently, which is why I feel hesitant) and FIFA 21 + 22(not really a soccer fan but they were good for 2P on a PS), so I feel like this is something new to me and maybe that it would be a slippery slope that makes me buy alot of games.
I've also been doing what I consider a light "dopamine detox" which is basically only using a phone when very necessary and even then with restrictions, and decreasing things like tv use when possible, which is all because I feel like I waste too much time doing nothing because I have no motivation for anything. I also feel like I am not a massive fan of dedicating alot of time on games.
With these 2 reasons, I feel very hesitant about buying it since it doesn't help me become the person I want to be, but at the same time I might probably buy it if I don't buy it this time in the next sale in 2 months, and I feel like if I'll buy it anyway, why not buy it earlier so I have access to it earlier, and I have this massive urge inside me to buy it, even when I know it doesn't exactly help me much.
Because of this I want someone to help me decide which choice to choose, not buy it and either buy it next sale or not anytime soon, or buy it before this sale ends.
