I currently own a MacOS Big Sur, MacBook Air 11" from 2014, 4 GB memory, 121 GB storage, however, the company has unfortunately decided to stop giving it updates. It is now exposed to potential security risks. Anyway, I don't feel like buying a completely new laptop.

I came for advice on whether it is better to upgrade it or which MacBooks currently on the market are worth a look? I haven't caught up with Apple since 2015.
