Hello! I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for private landlords or places to look for such, my credit score is a 610 rn unfortunately due to a medical bill and people have said my best bet is to go through a private landlord cause theres no way i can find a cosigner.

Im looking for a 2 bedroom, dog and cat friendly, my max budget is $2400 a month, anywhere really mostly want walking distance from the lake would prefer up north but if good neighborhood. We are planning to move in July, hopefully in the first few weeks.

Hi everyone! This is my first post on reddit ever, but me and my partner are trying to move to Chicago in July from out of state and i have a job secured, but he does not and trying to find a job for him to secure has been hard bc of how far put it is, but we need it to be this far out so we can start applying to apartments. Any recommendations/advice for us? He doesnt have any degrees or anything, has a lot experiences in customer services/ specifically gas stations.
