Myself and all my girls live in NYC, my wedding is in May. I don't want my Bach too close to my wedding but also inevitably it feels like we have to fly somewhere warm which would be risky before March... anyway what are the other April/May brides doing? Where and when are you going?
I am having my wedding in NYC, I want the guests to be in black tie but we are at a botanic garden so I want fun colors. California black tie would be perfect but is it weird to write that when I have no connection to California and the wedding is in New York? I was thinking of writing “Garden Formal” but from context clues I am picking up that some of the guests won’t take that as long dresses and wear cocktail dresses… but maybe it’s okay if some weird aunts or random parent friends aren’t in colorful black tie? What about “Spring Black Tie” or “Garden Black Tie”?
