I have always thought that the best life would be a simple one.…

A beautiful wife to worship, children to run around with and keep me young, and hobbies that include fixing things around the house.

I crave a Sunday morning where I wake up and make pancakes for everyone. The pitter patter of little feet running through the house. Sunshine streaming through the windows. Simplicity.

Is it really that hard to find?

Full disclaimer that some of my hobbies are not traditional at all…

Good morning all you beautiful people.

Do you ever feel like something is missing in your relationships? Have you ever been unable to be your “true” self? Have you always played it safe like me, trying to conform to what you feel the other person would like best? Yeah, me too.

However, I know what I want this time. I want true transparency. I want you to understand every facet of me the way I want to understand you.

I want to wake up on a Sunday morning with our kids running around. The smell of pancakes in the kitchen. Trusting that I will be able to fix all the things around the house. Maybe I will paint that fence this weekend.

I also want to support you in your hobbies, as long as you can be a proof reader to my.. hobby of sorts :)

I will be that solid foundation that you can always lean on. However, you might not be able to peel me off you.
