Hi everyone! I am relatively very new to this subreddit and the course.
Can you address my few queries:

1. From Feb 2027, I have seen posts stating scholarship is not random lottery anymore. Is there any proof to back it or engagement farming?
2. Those who got scholarships earlier, how was your essay? I mean was it more professional tone or about your own details only.
3. I am a student, with no jobs right now. I do not support my family, but do some freelancing to just sustain enough. As i am applying for scholarships, should i give true picture there? Like i heard people mentioning pseudo-details to get it. Should i do the same?
4. I am new to the subreddit, what are the best free resources to make the most? How much prep time is actually enough for l1? Are additional paid lectures too needed or youtube resources and Schweser materials will work?
5. Any tips that you would like to give to beginners, about this course. Maybe about mistakes you did during prep to others. I am very beginner with zero to know knowledge about the same, but as i am really keen to finance thinking to persue the same. Without scholarships, I couldn't afford it. My question is if my scholarship gets rejected, can I apply again? Or i need to pay it?

How strict was the border? Also were all your luggages checked? Did you pay the customes for everything?

Ani did they do detail checking? Like heard they are scanning both loaded vehicles and passenger buses. How was your experience?

Fumbled prep so bad, need to restart. Which one is more helpful?

Shirish sir's one looks too much mnemonics while BB sir's book looks better.
Please suggest based on your experience.

Similarly, please recommend for gst. How is ramesh soni sir's chart book? What are the other suggestions? Also, how to sort mcq prep.

Please recommend more self-explanatory book & QB with good revision videos of same faculty.
