So there’s been a case of lice in my daughter’s classroom. As soon as we received the email, I began hair treatment the very next day. I washed her bedding and ours the same exact night we had been notified. The next morning I sprayed lice repellent on her before school and had her hair up. After school, immediately did the hair treatment and combed everything I could get off. I looked at her scalp before bed and didn’t see anything. Husband and I did treatments as well and combed a fair amount of nits. I have thick hair and went over it again with the comb and had little to no nits. We’re going to continue washing with the repellent shampoo for the next several days and will continue to comb. I feel like I’m missing something or if I need to wash the bed sheets every day 😭. I’m wondering if the pillow cases just need to be washed? Also, is this the calm before the storm? Could we have possibly stopped a super infestation from happening? I didn’t see a whole lot of lice just nits and combed quite some of them out. Do I just need to keep up with combing hair and checking? I’ve already bagged her stuffed animals up just incase.
