hi! im currently a PH RN (nov 2025) + US RN (april 2026) and planning to move na later this year sa states. i have no experience anywhere but i want sana may malagay na experience before i move to the US, any recommendations where to work or volunteer po?

i know na some might say experience muna here in the ph since baka mahirapan abroad but im already set for this year na po kasi and citizen na din naman po ako 🥹 im just scared kasi na pumunta din dun ng walang experience but at the same time i also dont want to commit long term sa work here considering lower career growth - i have at least five months left here before i leave

Hi! For context, I am a foreign-graduate nurse from the Philippines but I am a US citizen. I graduated June 2025 and took the local licensure exam by November 2025 (we only have two exam dates per year, either May or November) and officially got my license by January 2026. Since it’s required to have my local license before applying to Illinois BON, I started applying right away and I passed the NCLEX just this April. I am planning to move around November of this year and I’m afraid if any hospital or facility would accept me as someone without any experience. Do you have any recommendations on hospitals accepting nurses without experiences considering I graduated last year and it’s almost 2027 by the time I apply for work. I am near Glendale area if that helps.
