my first fully complete castle on day 380 (map seed 256435592)

based this off of Norman castle designs, the entrance is basically just 2 layers of reinforced doors but because of the kill zones i have set up that is all i need to hold out against even larger sieges, those 4 towers each have 2 ballista each on them but they have yet to be bloodied though i am sure they will do wonders.

this floor is future rooms for more people who come in the future, right now i only have 11 people so now that i am not primarily focusing on castle construction and now actually doing the slightly important stuff like.... farming, i will probably be bringing more people in pretty quick

my infirmary and training room, not much to say in regards to this

my treasury, coin mint, and the second floor of my library. other than not having proper room for that planetarium the 2 story library is probably one of my favorite rooms in this build

the first floor of the library across from me reliquary chapel and Oak Brethren sanctuary

the primary living quarters, yes i am aware 2 people are getting shafted with lower quality beds and shared chambers when i have more room available, all i can really say is skill issue for them and myself since i really need to work on the interior decoration of these to bring the value up somehow

the great hall, balconies on either side, gold torches and hearths all over, probably gonna add more decor and replace those tables with nicer ones as well as once again add more decorations but that is for later.

the first level of my castle, yes that is the original limestone walls and floors when i first started, and yes i am absolutely terrified of replacing them due to risking structural integrity of this castle.

finally the basement where i keep all of my food and storage, yes i could use dirt walls however dirt is hard to grind for and it is deep enough that the temp stays at 1 or below all year round so i dont care all that much

any suggestions for improvements to the castle itself would be dope, never actually gotten this far before and it is my first big castle design in this game
