Need help getting medication
I’m doubtful that anyone will care or be willing to help, but I’m not sure where else to turn. I am a 25 year old male. I am a husband, father, and Active duty Army veteran. I began taking kratom near my last year in the Army. I took it for several years until I finally successfully quit last year in August for about 7 months. I’ve fallen back into my old habit once again and the shame is killing me. I am employed full time and make $16/hour plus commission in sales. I decided to try to quit before it gets too bad again, but every time I try to stop, I become violently sick. Nonstop vomit, unable to sleep, cold sweats. It’s to the point where I’m forced to buy another pseudo-kratom tab just to be able to work. I don’t have insurance, but I was able to make a web-based appointment and get a prescription for buperenorphine/suboxone. The appointment cost me $100, but I can’t afford the medication, which is about $40 after GoodRX coupon. I don’t get paid until this next Wednesday. I’m doubtful anyone would be willing to help, but if they could, I would be eternally grateful. I would be willing to pay back double.
