I’m pretty new to having my hair dyed, and I’ve been running with bright red ghost roots and tips for the past 7 months, and I’ve been noticing hair on my chin and mustache are growing out the same exact color that my hair is right now. I’ve only had it dyed two times within 7 months, so my hair has been this darker maroon color for the majority of the time.
As I'm typing this, I have a feeling people will ask me to pull the hair to confirm it’s actually growing the same color and not dyed, but I’ll wait for push to come to shove because I pulled a red rooted hair from my mustache and regret it tbh lol. It doesn’t sound believable imo but the fact that more are growing makes me wonder if anyone else has experienced this or with crazy non-human colors like blue or a green growing naturally. I think this is somewhat possible for my case since humans have the genetics to grow red hair, but I have dark brown hair not red.
