Firstly, I would like apologize firsthand, as I'm not exactly someone who understands home things like the air conditioning. If I get terminology wrong or other things, please don't be too angry and please correct me. I wanna learn.


Upstairs, thermostat reads 81 while set at 75. The stuff meant to be outside is most certainly running. In between mine and my brother's room is a small door which I'm sure connects to the large vent right below said door.

Upon closer examination, the lower half of this machine had condensated water running down its side and had a slightly chilly feel. Plus, the pipe there had an ice ring of sorts upon connection of the machine.

Is this normal or something I should tell my parent?
