After the long search, my time at Tesco has come to an end!

I just want to give credit where it is due to absolutely all of you, coming into retail I was deluded thinking it was nothing but an easy pay day, after years of nights I couldn’t have been more wrong.

Dealing with the public, breaking your back for people who would replace you in an instant, understaffing and everyone’s favourite - those lovely lovely managers who don’t have a clue

The rising pressure every shift is obscene, being expected to do the work of 3 people and some is un fathomable and I don’t know how so many of you do it!

The second I handed in my notice the mental agony was gone and I regained my smile within seconds - I really didn’t realise how bad it was affecting me working there.

I hope for those of you who are trying to get out find a way and for those of you that enjoy it, I’m truly glad you do!

Something about that place has to change and I really do hope it gets better for those of you still there.
