How can I/should go about learning cantonese in secret?

Hi yall. For some context, im an Asian American whose family speaks both cantonese and english. I always avoided learning cantonese growing up and I regret it now. Over the years, ive learned to understand a very small bit of cantonese just from pure exposure. I am also learning mandarin right now in school since they offer it. I'd say in terms of mandarin speaking ability I'm like at the survivable level. So roughly around advanced novice to low intermediate. I can read some characters but I don't know how to write. This was always a bucket list thing for me to do and I want to know how to get started. As the title suggests, I don't want anyone to know or realize im doing this. I plan for it to be a surprise one day. I want to improve fast and plan on making a routine schedule to follow everyday. Thanks in advanced for reading this and any advice/feedback is greatly appreciated!

What can I do to improve before test day?

Hi yall. I just realized that my biggest weakness regarding my essay writing is the inconsistency. What I mean is that, some essay topics I have no problem writing about I guess it just flows more naturally. On the other hand, I struggle with certain more niche topics. Is the solution just grinding essay prompts? If so, should I use AI to grade my paper? For the argument essays at least, my teacher suggested memorizing flex examples. Basically examples of topics you know a decent bit about and can actively write about. How many or should I even go about doing that. The last thing is that I don't know how to improve the MCQ. I average 33-34 😭 and the ones I did get wrong are pretty much impossible for me to figure out in the given time. Im aiming for a 4 but a 5 would be nice too (probably not tho). Sorry for the rant I guess I just wanted to see if anyone had any feedback or advice. Anything is appreciated! 🙏

Hi guys, this is my first post here and is a 3 (hopefully 4) even possible. This is my teachers first year teaching and he got assigned AP chem. I don't want to blame the teacher that much since it is his first time but I don't think anyone understands his teaching style or how he is going about the material. Most people average 50-60% on quizzes and unless your absolutely brilliant and understand the material based on how he is teaching it then your basically cooked like me and a majority of my class. For reference I got a 22/60 💀 on the MCQ without studying. I think most of my classmates have given up but this situation is so cooked.
