Years ago I had a good experience going to a dental school for a cleaning, etc. I'm in my early 40's and have wanted braces for over twenty years now. Regrettably, I just don't make enough money to justify cosmetic procedure like that. Does anyone have any experiences as a patient or clinician which can give a little insight about getting braces for cheaper in an Orthodontist program/school? Sorry if this question is annoying. I just think it would be kind of nice to be proud of my smile.

New builder here (well actually I had one model when I visited Japan when I was 4 in ‘89) and now discovering this community and rediscovering my love for these magical toys. My insanely nube question is if I were to hypothetically want to add more decals (or just have more variety), is there a go-to source? Sorry if that’s an annoying ask.
