Bought the dress on the left 5 years ago in a thrift shop. I love it, but I wear it all the time in summer and the fabric is getting really old so I'm afraid it might be its last season...

So I copied it, made a pattern and ... It works! Same exact fit, I'm just so happy 😊 and it was also my first time piping, I really enjoyed the process and the result!

Pattern: self drafted from my old dress, I turned it, measured each of the pieces and then drew them. I also added 1 cm of sewing margin. The upper back and the waist are fitted with an elastic sewed on the fabric.

Fabric: Tana Lawn from Liberty, bought on wastedfabrics
