Just received the confirmation email that my relative’s 6 months UK visitor visa has been approved.

Place: VFS Mysore, Standard (non-priority)

*Timeline*

1. Biometrics: April 27th afternoon.
2. Application received emails: bunch of these on the same day evening
3. Visa approved email: May 7th

Was super quick! Just 8 calendar days after the biometrics appointment, and that too despite the UK bank holiday on May 4th.
