Looking into restoring my forgotten guitars
Hi guys,
Not going to make this a beginner's post as I know Google is right there.
More a discussion/question scenario, I have these two guitars that I had as a teen, that kinda got stuck in my parents storage in my 20's, so have been forgotten and have seen better days.
I am looking for opinions, should I try to restore them myself, or reach out to an expert who knows what they're doing? I know on both the electrics/pickups etc. should still be in good nick, so it's mainly restringing and cleaning,and the squire needs the thread from a broken whammy bar taken out(15 year old me thought he was the next dime bag Darrell and liked to make his guitar scream, too much torque and snapped the bar off the threads), but they've been sitting in storage for 10+ years so could be things I don't even know to check for that are wrong with it.
And any advice on how to remove that god awful sticker without wrecking the guitar.
