I was stopped at a checkpoint 3 weeks ago and did not have NCT. I had a booking for one the following week but because my car was 3 months out of NCT I was told I was going to get a fixed charge notice anyways.
I have yet to receive a letter 3 weeks later.
Did the Garda eventually let me off or is this standard?
