I’m finishing up my associate’s degree in IT and planning to continue on to a bachelor’s (and possibly a master’s later on). Right now I’m considering a few options: Double majoring in IT and possibly a business related subject, Or sticking with IT and adding Spanish as a second major or minor. I already speak French but I also know Spanish is widely spoken and could be useful in IT depending on the role. I’ve also started earning certifications and plan to keep going with those alongside my degree.

Has anyone here done a double major? Did you find it worth it, or did it feel redundant? Also, for those in IT, how valuable has a second language like Spanish been in your career? Appreciate any advice or personal experiences!
