we're canvassing hotels right now for our trip to Taipei and Yomi Hotel (along Minsheng E Rd) caught our attention. any notable places within 15-20min walking distance from the said property?
as to the type of places, I'm thinking tourist spots, cafes, food stalls, boutique stores or even shopping centers?
I mean, I see the FB PHL marketplace ads for people (not sure if they're tennis fans, players or maybe both) selling trading cards of different international players produced by companies like Topps. siyempre as a long-time fan and player, it catches my attention, pero worried lang ako at baka waste of money lang sya if mahina naman market nya for items like these and therefore isn't a good investment
I mean, how close (or far) will cards such as these be compared to those for other sports like basketball & baseball that can be sold for way more money?
I'm referring to the excess number of humps found along the main road upon entering the main gate along Cayetano Ave. why is it that there are humps in front of every residential development along the main road and continuing in front of MP3 and Alder? case in point: coming from the main gate, from MP2 until you reach the casa real intersection, there are about 6 or 7 humps that you encounter, and that's a distance of barely 300m!
the way I see it, additional humps have been constructed in those spots along Acacia Ave. to force drivers to slow down in case there are vehicles exiting those developments. but shouldn't those vehicles actually yield to the ones already traveling along that main road?
if there would be additional humps, they should be just past each development's guardhouse, forcing drivers to not just turn into main road traffic but actually slow down, check if both sides are clear and then slowly merge into that road?
with the entrances to the different developments so close together and along the same main road, doesn't it seem absurd to install pairs of humps in front of each one?
