I've been a student struggling with the special Ed department since middle school, and I thought it would get better once I entered high school. Apparently I was wrong!

It genuinely feels like they don't care. My problem is that I'm very much self-aware. Am I hypocritical for hating neurodivergent people when I'm neurodivergent?

They treat me like I'm retarded.

They pulled me out of class for that fucking test to make sure I'm not autistic.

I am a SMART person and will always believe that, but hey refuse to give me any sort of a chance. I come to school so I can get an education, but I hardly do my work anymore. My days are mostly spent waiting around because it's impossible to work in the environments I'm placed in.

Sped teachers keep talking to me, and I try to end the conversation as quickly as possible, because I don't want to be associated with the Sped department any more.

Just being a Sped student means APPARENTLY you don't get friends, because nobody wants to talk to you. The people I'm most friendly with, and GENUINELY enjoy interacting with are the guys in their twenties at the Smash Bros locals I go to.

The Sped department EXPLOITS the nativity of the students in the program. That's the conclusion I've come to.

If you listened, thank you. (And I apologize, as well)
