Tired of iontophoresis, thinking about switching to Antihydral – need advice

Hey everyone,

I’ve been dealing with palmar and plantar hyperhidrosis for years. I’ve been using iontophoresis for a long time now.

It works for me pretty well overall – I’d say I’m dry about 90–100% most of the time.
However, I’m really getting exhausted from the maintenance.

I still need to do treatments about 3 times a week, and I feel kind of “dependent” on the machine. If I stop for a few days, I sometimes get sweating back in the fingertips.

I also use baking soda and tap water (our tap water is pretty strong/mineral-heavy), which helps a bit, but still the routine is tiring.

Honestly, I’m just tired of being tied to a machine all the time.

I’m considering switching to Antihydral cream since I’ve heard a lot of good things about it, especially for hands and feet. I also have the option to order 4 tubes from Germany.

My questions for people who have tried both:

  • Is Antihydral really that effective compared to iontophoresis?
  • Is it easier to maintain long-term?
  • Any regrets switching?
  • Any side effects that made you stop using it?

I’m mainly looking for something that gives me freedom and doesn’t feel like a constant “treatment routine”.

Would really appreciate real experiences and honest opinions.

Thanks!
