First the kickstand bracket failed, then the rear rack mount snapped, and now the entire frame has broken in half. It’s the Onesport OT18-2 Model which was discontinued.

Edit: Hi Everyone, it seems that this post has turned into a bashing fest on my bike.
I just wanted to clear some stuff up.

I don’t live by the sea. I live in a woodland area with high humidity at times of the year and this bike was ridden hard through all sorts of terrain. I really did love this bike. It was used for daily commuting and delivery work accruing a total of 8263 miles. I rode it more or less everyday.

I changed the break pads every month.
I oiled the forks. (Which is why the line between the rust/dirt and the oil is so well defined)
Greased the bolts. (Adding lock tight when needed)
I changed the bottom bracket and crankset once a year.
I replaced the LCD
I replaced the bolts every month or so because the rainwater was seeping in and wearing down the metal and causing the bolts to snap or strip.
I took apart and rebuilt the wheels every month, replacing rusted/damaged spokes and re-truing the wheel
I changed and greased the brake cables.
Replaced the stock plastic pedals with metal then changed them back to plastic after getting hit in the shin.
I replaced the stock tyres with mounting bike tyres.
I upgraded the seat post too.
I built a custom chain when the original one wore out. Turns out the chain size used was non standard.
Changed the handlebar stem too.
I honestly can’t remember what else.
After coming to realise that there was an issue with the metal used for the spokes I bought a specialised rim (which you can see in the photo) and completely rebuilt the wheel using stronger steel spokes.
I lined the damn tyres with anti puncture material and sliced up rubber strips to further cushion the inner-tube.
My bike was a cheap made in china piece of shit. But she was my cheap made in china piece of shit. She was a beast and now she’s dead💀 RIP

I learned this bike inside and out. I could literally disassemble and reassemble it with my eyes closed but she finally has an issue that I can’t fix. (I’m not welding it back together!)

Learn from this. You can be the best mechanic in the world but you can’t escape fate. If you are currently riding a cheap made in china piece of shit bike, please remember that at any moment you could end up dead as a result of a catastrophic failure like this. Don’t listen to the idiots in the comments that claim that I cut my bike in the half or that the rust or neglect did this. Decisions did this. Decisions made long before I bought the bike.

…..And I did keep it outside because I have a garden and girlfriend. Does everyone else have a garage or something? are you really keeping a freaking e-bike in the house? I’ve got outside storage for the batteries too so they can send my shed to heaven instead of my family if there’s runaway. I literally don’t know anyone that keeps their bike inside unless they have no other option.

…There were no front end collisions. It’s a bike, not a car. On a bicycle you have one and it’s over. Please scroll down to see a photograph of the full bike.

Yesterday I had my food delivered by an English white woman in her 30s and I was actually shocked. I was legitimately taken aback and had to think about how I’ve never seen that before. What’s going on? Is the job market really that bad right now? Before you go on your self righteous rant, think about it. When is the last time you saw a woman working as a delivery worker, bin collector or a security guard or as an Uber driver? Let alone a white English woman🤣

London Based btw.
