Coin ID and info please
Hello all, I know there's hundreds of these posts every month; but I've come across a couple of coins that have come from a relatives house clearance and just wondered if anyone could shed any light on a few things:
The first coin I've managed to identify as what I think is a 1562 Elizabeth I sixpence. My main question is; is it real? The striking seems to be haphazard enough that it would be strange if this was a replica. Any opinions on condition and value would also be appreciated. I personally have not cleaned it, but it seems awfully clean for an almost 500 year old coin.
The second coin, I just can't seem to find what it is, any and all info appreciated.
