Blackmoon cosmetics in Squid

This is my mom’s dog Molly. She’s a little fat and I keep telling my mom to put her on a diet. She’s very… dense. She was a rescue from a bad situation so we have no idea about her breed makeup. I’ve been trying to convince my mom to get a dna test for her because I’m so curious what she is exactly. The groomer thinks she might be mixed with Tibetan Spaniel but I think that’s unlikely given how rare they are. I worked with dogs for years and never encountered a Tibetan spaniel in my city.

Molly has extremely short legs. They’re less than 2 inches long. She is mostly black and brown with some white on her chest and face. Her hair is medium long, longer on her ears and her feet and it is very coarse. She doesn’t shed all that much. Any ideas about breed makeup? I always assumed there was some chihuahua in there but other than that I have no clue.
