For those who were upset about the waiving of Kate Martin and Marta Suarez, they both were offered developmental contracts and they both turned them down. Kate confirms her contract talk at the 2:58 mark. I still wish Martin wasn't waived to begin with but I also understand this is a business, roster cuts have to be made, and that she is also injured.

Noticed Miela Sowah wasn't suited up for today's game. She's only played 1/12 games and when she did play it was 2 minutes. Really disappointed with her lack of playing time. She was fun to watch during preseason and is a good player for Townsville Fire. I know there's a lot of talent on the roster but I really wanna see her play, she's incredibly fun to watch.
