Watch parties = synced playback across regional time slots (Asia / EU / Americas) with shared chat for the whole airing. Same vibe as a Champions League final or a movie premiere everyone tunes in at the same time, everyone reacts on the same frame, the chat goes wild together.

Tired of the ad-filled, slow, badly-navigated anime sites I'd been using, I started building something for myself a few weeks back. Sharing what I've got so far! **free, no ads, no tracking**. Windows desktop first; iOS and Android TV are on the roadmap once the desktop side is polished.
### The catch
I don't host any files. The app reads from torrent sources and resolves them through Real-Debrid, which means **you bring your own RD subscription** for a quality streaming experience. The app itself is forever free, I'm not affiliated with RD and not paid by them; I just landed on RD after years of personal use. Multi-resolver support is on the roadmap if there's interest.
### Why direct torrent over scraping streams
No quality loss (you're getting the source file, not a re-encode), and you get to pick your favorite group / encoder, which means credit ends up where the actual work was done.
### What's in the current build
**Your AniList, your catalog.** Reads from your AniList list. Hide completed and dropped shows from navigation so you don't scroll past stuff you've already finished or are actively avoiding. Quick access to your planning queue, paused/continuing shows, and what's airing.
**Notifications.** Pings you when new episodes drop based on your follow list. Also fires when a slow source finally finishes resolving, useful for older shows with low seeders that take a while.
**Source picker with preferred-group lock-in.** Pick whatever release you want — favorite fansub, specific encoder, whatever. Optional setting auto-prefers the same release for the next episode when available, so quality stays consistent across a watch-through. You can also name a preferred group in settings and the player will pick it whenever it's an option.
**Auto-prepare next episode.** While you're finishing one episode, the next one starts resolving in the background. By the time autoplay kicks in, it's ready — no waiting on a source mid-binge.
**Batch resolve for finished shows.** Starting a completed anime? Kick off a batch resolve and the app pre-resolves every episode in advance. You get pinged when the queue's done, then binge without source-picker friction between episodes.
**Airing calendar.** See what's airing this week with filters for shows you follow vs. dropped. Episode counts, weekly binge-time totals, hover-to-preview.
The goal is to make every feature customizable so you can tune the app to how you actually watch.
### Where I need help
- **More torrent sources.** I'm using a couple of providers right now and would love to expand the pool. Drop your favorites in the comments or in the Discord.
- **Logo.** Still don't have a proper one. If anyone's into that, I'd love to talk.
- **Languages.** English subs are the priority for now (sources drive what we can do), but UI translation can happen any time. Other sub languages will follow when sources are reliable.

Hey everyone, I’m currently in Spain on a student permit (ESTANCIA L.D. TEMPORAL INICIAL AUT. TRABAJO EN EDAD LABORAL authorized to work up to 20h/week).
Since March 2026 I’ve been working remotely as an independent contractor for a US LLC, 18h/week, payments going into my Spanish bank account.
Planning to apply for the DNV through UGE around June after 3 months of payments.
But I haven’t registered as autónoma or filed any taxes yet because I’m not sure if I’m even allowed to on a student permit.
Has anyone been in this situation? Specifically:
1. Can you register as autónoma on a student permit that authorizes work?
2. If not, did you just do a declaración responsable and register after approval?
3. How did you handle taxes for the months working before the DNV was approved?
4. Anyone successfully gone from student permit to DNV through UGE?
