Hello, I am building a pc and currently have 16gb of 6600 Mhz c36 ram. My mate is giving me some 2*16gb ddr5 ram, is it possible to put the ram together in the same PC. I know the other ram might have different speed and timing, but i would assume even if i have to make my current ram slower it would be better to have 48gb of ram vs 32gb of the same type? Is this possible or am i being stupid, im using it for cad and gaming? Any help would be appreciated.
