My elderly neighbor is in need of an outdoor wheelchair ramp for her brother (he’s hospitalized at the VA and can’t be released home until they have one in place). She said she was quoted between $8k- $16k to have one installed and simply can’t afford that. Does anyone know of any programs to help seniors and/or veterans with these sorts of things? Or any reputable company that may be able to do one more cheaply?
