Hi everyone,

I’m currently preparing the absence justification documents for an ILR application. They ask for scans of old passports to verify travel history/absences.

For myself, I had previous passports available, but for my two children I only have their current passports and not the old ones containing their travel history (French consulate in London took them)

Would a cover letter explaining the situation be sufficient, or is there another way to obtain/check their absence history without the old passports?

Do you know if we have to pass B1 with speaking and listening only or shall we book for the full skills set i.e : Speaking - Reading - Listening - Writting

I have a LanguageCert B1 certificate hold since 2021 for my skilled worker visa.

I understood according to gov uk that that even if it could run out after 2yo I don’t have to pass it again as it was accepted by Home office for a previous skilled visa application.

My wife (skilled visa dependant on mine) has to pass a B1, but we are hesitating which one is the correct?
