Back in India after 5 years in the UK looking for work, any leads?

Hey everyone, hope everyone’s having a good start to the weekend :)

A bit of an unusual situation so bear with me.

I was working in the UK for two years at a large motor insurance company in Cardiff. Got offered a role at an MNC in India, so I made the move. Offer got pulled after I arrived which was a huge bummer. My plans crashed tbh with no backup but I primarily came back due to a family medical emergency, which has since been resolved so now I’m fully focused on getting back into the workforce.

A bit about me: I have a law degree (from the uk) and a legal background, but I’m genuinely open to non-legal roles too. HR especially interests me, since relationship management and working with people is something I’m pretty good at. Corporate roles in general are very much on my radar.

I’m not being picky, I just want to get back to work and hit the ground running.

If anyone has leads, knows someone hiring, or can point me in the right direction, I’d really appreciate it. Feel free to DM me or drop a comment. Thanks in advance and have a great rest of your week everyone 🙏

VFS New Delhi Appointment - Studies without an APS

Hey, sorry this is a bit too specific for my situation but I’m hoping this reaches the intended target audience so I can get a lil bit of guidance:) I’ve been trying to book an appointment at the German embassy in New Delhi since the last week but it says all slots are unavailable, try again later. I qualify for a non APS route (undergrad in the UK) so I’ve been selecting the same drop-down in the Visa sub category, is this a normal thing to see? I didn’t think New Delhi would be completely booked off :/ and I suppose I can’t travel to a different jurisdiction to get an appointment as well due to the local consulate rules? Any guidance on this would be super helpful x thanks a bunch cheers

Hi lovelies, I applied to the cycle a bit late for two of them to be fair (mid April) so not expecting to hear back anytime soon but wondering if others who applied early have heard back already? 👀If you applied to similar unis which one are you targeting as #1? Cheers x
