Hey guys

I got cut using the free-hand / traditional method with stitches a few days ago (local anesthesia) and I got a massive inflamed donut ring.

Doctor said take off the gauze / bandaging before using the bathroom for the first time. I was prescribed a pill, a powder spray, a cream, and saline water.

I actually don't feel much pain, other than some stinging/burning here and there (which I believe means my body is healing the wound), and when the wound touches my pants or another surface. Urinating is generally fine and erections were painful in the beginning but now I just feel some tension/pressure, not pain.

For those of you who have gone through the initial healing process, how long does it take for the donut swelling to go away? Any other tips / advice for the first couple of weeks?
