TlDr at the bottom
I’m 24M, and am very much struggling to kickstart my career. I’m in a very high pressure office job currently where all my colleagues have either left or been made redundant (while still being paid just over minimum wage). I know that, unfortunately, in these times I will absolutely need to be a breadwinner to some capacity if I want to have a comfortable life for myself and future wife/kids.
I’m fortunate enough to still be in employment but am desperate to get out this place (they only care about profits and shaft our customers left right and centre which directly opposes my morals, even if it does pay the bills).
I’m based in the West Midlands currently (very near Birmingham - North Worcestershire to be exact) and very much want a career change. I’m intelligent enough to deal with some high pressure office jobs, however, have the issue of;
1, I plan to move to Lincoln next year which already causes an issue (though I am able to purchase a house and then take some time getting a job before moving)
2, I do not have a degree as I refused to give in to the pressure from my college to go to University just to make their numbers look nice
TlDr;
My question is, are there any jobs (ideally hybrid/remote) that I can get into that provide a good paying career/pension without a degree or ridiculous amount of experience? Open to any suggestions, I (should) be intelligent enough to cope with most higher pressure environments. Thank you all from one struggling person in this crazy world to another!!
