I noticed the Council approved moving forward with the idea of a clergy assistance fund after hearing the report from Deacon Pavel Lisitsyn of the British Diocese. I’m curious how this is intended to relate to the existing FFA structure. Is the idea to create a parallel charitable mechanism for Europe specifically, or something broader for ROCOR overall? Since FFA already exists and has historically handled clergy assistance, I wonder what practical gap the new initiative is meant to fill.
