34+6 with mo/di twins, getting really hard
Hi! First of all I wanted to say how thankful I am for this subreddit. I don’t have anyone around me who’s been pregnant with twins and I feel like they don’t understand what the end of the pregnancy feels like. I’ve found this community to be amazing and incredibly positive and I am so thankful.
I al 34+6 with mo/di twins, nearing the end of this pregnancy! I can’t believe we’ve made it this far with a high risk pregnancy. I am over the moon! I’ve had a fairly uncomplicated pregnancy other than a mild fluid imbalance between twins that seems to have resolved by itself but had me going to my MFM every week for ultrasounds. I am now starting to be swollen (BP is still normal) and just overall incredibly uncomfortable.
Induction is scheduled for 36+1 in the evening with hopes to deliver at 36+2 if everything goes well. They’re both head down so we’re gonna try for a vaginal delivery!
Any advice/good stories on delivery of mo/di twins would be hugely appreciated. Also on postpartum and twin care in general. I definitely have a village by my side who are willing to help a ton, but these are my first babies so any advice would be very appreciated.
