I have (new) Oticon Hearing Aids. I went back to my audiologist on another matter last week in preparation for taking a trip where I will be listening to some Rick Steeves walking tours. Last time I traveled, I was disappointed that I couldn’t hear the streaming content over the street noise. She explained that you can go into your Oticon app’s general setting and change the volume controls on the app. This changes what the MIKE picks up - not the volume of your streaming. So.. I can turn up the music/tpodcast/etc I am streaming on my phone volume buttons while turning DOWN the outside mike pickup for noise and conversations. Wow - I’m really excited and thought I would share. I already tried it at my noisy gym - it made a huge difference!!!
