Context: my father passed away very suddenly, and the funeral home posted a memorial page using a photo we had provided (zoomed in for this post; we had little pictures to work with sadly). The image on their site looks very different from the original to me and my sister. It looks smoothed, altered, and almost like a different person. We were never asked for permission to edit it.

I am not asking whether it is a good photo or whether “enhancing” it was well-intended. I want to know one thing: does this look AI-edited or AI-enhanced to you? If that is the case, I find this deeply disrepectful.
