I recently received a notice about the recall. I tried twice to submit a picture and all the information that was required and both times was told that they needed more information. They are looking for the weber logo on the handle, in my case, the handle had broken off because of a defect of the handle. It seems because of the two defects (the handle and the brush), that it didn't meet the requirements. I called today and talked to MacKenzie even and she would not approve. So, no rebate or new brush. This is not the Weber I thought I knew and that would stand behind their products. I'll be looking elsewhere for my next grill for sure - funny how decisions of a couple of dollars can affect a thousand-dollar purchase in the future.
