Good 'ol colour correcting!

For context I do a more natural, barely there makeup. I only put makeup on my spots, no where else.

So I use a deep orange colour corrector as only that depth can cover my pigmentation. But it always leaves the area orange (obvi) and requires me to cover it with more concealer and then the whole area looks unnatural compared to the areas without makeup.

Recently I discovered the power of green colour corrector! (Yes the one people with red discolouration use). It works spectacular for taking away the orange-ness of the colour correction without minimising coverage, and without concealer. Also gives the oliveness that my natural skin has.

Give it a try if you have the same issue as me. I'd love to hear other people's colour correcting hacks or tips

demi makeup method

just came across the Demi makeup method on TikTok. Wondering if anyone has any tips to share or their own experiences. Essentially, it's makeup that looks like skin but more even, no foundation or concealer is used only colour correcting.

Buying one of these tomorrow, just don't know which one. Both have mixed reviews but depending on your own experience and my preference what would you guys recommend?

- has to stay on my face all day, no transfer
- I have combo skin so not dewy or anything
- has to be safe to wear often, heard that loreal one is literally hairspray so does anyone have any negative experience with using it on their face often
- good for natural makeup! I apply my makeup in lights layers (think Nina park type makeup) and don't really have powder version of my product except for one setting powder so I don't need it to do much about "setting the powder" or whatever they claim to do

thank you!
