Was offered a buyout for a gaming laptop and trying to decide if it’s a good deal.

Specs:

• i5-14450HX
• RTX 4050
• 32GB DDR5 RAM
• 1TB SSD
• <1 year old, well maintained

Original price: ~RM4.6k

Buyout price: ~RM3.9k

I've been using this laptop for work myself so I know it's in good condition. My current personal laptop is pushing 5 years use so I probably need to upgrade soon anyway.

Would you take this buyout, or just buy new instead?

Appreciate any input, especially from people more familiar with current pricing.
