Hi everyone,
I'm pretty new to 3D-printing and have already made a lot of prints, but those were pretty straightforward. Now, I've been wanting to print a scalemodel of a car. I've found a 3d-model of the car here: https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/2015-seat-leon-st-cupra-280-52f9feaf70b44950b5120c659477d4b1
Printer: Bambulab P1S, software Bambulab and Blender
I have downloaded the .obj file and put it into bambulab, only for it to show like this:
Obviously at this point, bambulab is telling me there's non manifold edges. So I let it repair these edges, that lead to this (notice the flat wheels, but still no windows and also the grill of the car is hollow):
I have tried to 'fill' the car in Blender using a few tutorials like this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7-aUbGw8Sz4
Unfortunately that does not work out for me (followed all the steps exactly) as the car stays hollow at some points. I have tried to switch on supports, but then it will print a mess.
Anyone that can help? Much appreciated.
