I just started Magic Recipe. In order to play the game on iPad and iPhone I have to go through tons of steps that should not be required.

When I finish playing on iPhone, for example, I have to go to settings and save to cloud manually, and on the same screen, ensure I am signed into Apple and Google. Then when opening the app on my iPad, it tells me that the data on that device has been deleted and I have to log in as guest. That’s my only option.

So I do that. Then I have to start the tutorial and go through it until I’m finally allowed to click the settings button. I then have to sign in to Apple (again) and it then says “restart game. Only then am I reconnected with my Apple account and the progress I made on iPhone. I can now continue play on iPad.

After I’m done playing on iPad, if I want to play on iPhone, I have to go through the same process.

I’m fine needing to manually save to cloud before closing if I’m switching devices. Although I don’t have to do that with the regular cats and soup. What I’m not okay with is having to go through the tutorial and the whole set of steps every time I open the app on one device after having played it on the other.

I cannot find where anyone else is having this issue. Can anyone provide help? If I can’t resolve it, I’ll have to delete and give up on that game. 😔

When I go to my travel album, I can see all my pictures, and can see them all at once if I click “ALL” in bottom left corner of the map.

Here is what I don’t understand: When I click on a continent, say Europe, a travel album appears that says “Travel Album 1/5.” There are 5 pages to click through, each with 4 spaces/slots for pictures.

Now, I have been to 3 places in Europe. Not sure which cats went where or if that matters. But in the album that says “Travel Album 1/5, when I click on Europe on the map, only one of my Europe pictures shows in the album. All of the other slots are empty, on all pages. But if I click the three lines in the top right corner, all 3 photos are listed, with the one that is shown in the actual album having a green checkmark by it. I can then click one of the other 2 pictures, but it doesn’t “add” it to the album with the picture that is currently there. Instead, it moves the green checkmark to that picture and replaces the current picture with the newly marked on.

In other words, the menu in the 5 page “Travel Album” for Europe shows all three pictures of taken in Europe, but I can only put one in the album, even thought there are 5 pages, each with 4 available spots for pictures.

I can go back and forth with the arrows on either side of the map to switch between kitten’s kennels, so at first I thought perhaps the three pictures were taken by the three separate cats. But even when I move to another cats kennels with the arrows by he map, the same picture still shows and again I can only change it by swapping out with one of the other two pictures in the right corner menu.

I just find this extremely confusing. Is there a method here? Shouldn’t all my Europe pics be in the album when I’m on Europe? No matter which continent I click on in the map, only one picture in the “Travel Album 1/5” and all other pictures in that menu and I can only swap them out. Only ONE picture can be in the 5 page album at one time.
